Hoot Hoot!!!!! Spring 2014

Wow I have not blogged in awhile....exciting news to share.....SPRING COLLECTION!!!!  OMG it is amazing.  I am salivating and can not decide what to get for myself and my display.  What to do what to do?????

I will share some pictures at the end of today's post to share with everyone!  My incredible mentor, Molly Hauer!  She has made this experience fun.  Jeff jokes all the time that I am a Designer for Origami Owl b/c it is my new "social club".  He pointed out I always have friends meet me at events or we meet up after events or Jewelry Bars and have a glass of wine and enjoy our time together.  I have to admit......It is kind of true.  Being a designer gets me out of the house, I meet other amazing women and have fun at the same time.  Molly and I have tried a different approach than most direct sales reps.  She and I attend events together which helps us assist more people, we have a FUN time in the process and most importantly we learn from each other.

When things like the Spring Launch came about we have fun meeting up for breakfast and going to the event together!  We take selfies for facebook and laugh all day!  I would love to see our group grow so we can continue this adventure.

Now I will stop being a sap and move on to the SPRING COLLECTION.  I will post some other pictures here but seeing the pieces in person is even better.  Which makes it so hard for me to figure out what to buy to show others.

Origami started a NEW collection....wait for it.....wait for it.....EARRINGS...and they are FABULOUS!  You can buy hoops and change out different dangles that fit them.  You can buy studs and accent them with a halo!

Valentines

I have been sooo busy.  I attended the Columbus SOAR event this weekend, which was AMAZING!  Bella stopped in and saw us all.  I also received my Heart Locket and Heart Necklace.  I have to admit I was not that excited about the new locket b/c I am not that into Hearts.  However this locket is stunning.  It is much bigger than I thought and the crystals are really well placed!

What a great week to get the new year started!  This company impresses me more and more.  They are very supportive and I always feel people are really trying to help me become successful.  I am excited to become a Mentor for a Designer and hope I can inspire someone like my Mentor has inspired me!

2014 is HERE

I am so happy to see the new year finally arrive.  I am exited to see what this year brings to my family.  One little change that has already happened to my family is our new addition!  He started as a "foster dog" but with his face I do not think I can part with him.  Jeff is not in a good position because my birthday is this week!  We have named him Booker.  I picked the name b/c I am a Kentucky girl and Booker is a fantastic Kentucky Bourbon.  Jeff liked the name b/c one if his all time favorite bands is Booker T and the MGs.  I am not sure what I was thinking saying yes to a puppy.  I have no idea how to raise a puppy.  But here I go...let the adventures begin!

Booker has caused me to change my focus and Origami Owl has not been on my mind like it has been. We will see what 2014 brings to the Kennedy clan!!!!

Good bye 2013

I am so thrilled to say good-bye to 2013.  This was a rough year for me and my family.  I have had some tough times in life but this year was throwing things at us left and right!  The one thing I can say was a true blessing was Origami Owl.  I am still new to this but loving every minute!  I get excited to share the jewelry with others and love meeting new people.  It is also a huge joy to see people approach me who already have a locket and share their story.  It's funny because I find most people have lockets filled with meaningful things.  My lockets are constantly changing and are usually just fun things for the moment.  The basketball game that is on......my team is in my locket.  Just out on the town.  Something to match my outfit.

We have a seminar/training/convention coming to Columbus this January.  I have no idea what to expect.  I am hoping it will keep my motivation alive and help me learn more about how to be in direct sales!

Happy New Years everyone!  GOOD-BYE 2013...I do not want to see you again......HELLO 2014 and the adventures to come!!!!

Hoot Hoot!!!

OMG I am so excited about Valentine's day and we are not done with Christmas!!!!  I have been out all weekend working an event for Christmas...it has been crazy...then I hear about all the AMAZING things coming out for Valentines Day.  OMG I want all the new jewelry.  What will I do with myself???  I will share some pictures here of what is to come!!!  I have ordered catalogs so I can share with anyone who wants a first look!  For the next week I will be posting all the amazing pictures!!!

A creation

I almost forgot I promised to share this amazing necklace my sister-in-law created.  I really like the floating plate and all the birth stones as gems.  The picture is not great....but it is what I could do at the time!!!

The end of 2013

What a YEAR!  My personal life has had a rough year however starting with Origami Owl was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!!   I am having fun, it is not difficult and I have tons of jewelry to play with on my free time.  I work full time as a social worker during the week and have two small children.  I really did not think I had any extra time to work.  Origami Owl is so fun I do not feel like I am working.  I have also been very lucky to sign under an amazing group of women.  My mentor has walked me through everything and also helped me by inviting me to events.  We have enjoyed doing events so much we try and always do them together then split the orders up!  How great is that!

I will say after this crazy year, I am ready to say good bye to 2013 and I am really looking forward to a fantastic 2014!!!!
